Rainy Day Equipment Bauman Bag
The Bauman Bag provides a single-point suspension for lifting a patient during a hoist
or short-haul evacuation. The Hoist model has adjustable length straps
allowing the bag to be configured to your aircraft. The fixed length
straps on the Short Haul model position the bag at the best aerodynamic
angle for flight stability. Both bags can be used with backboards or
litters. Less than 13 lb (6 kg), the Bauman Bag stores in an 11 x 21
inch (28 x 53 cm) stuff bag, reducing weight and storage space on the
aircraft. The bag includes reflective tape and a pocket for a chemical
light sticks for low light and night operations. Both bags can be used

CMC Arizona Vortex Kit

Named for its origin in the rugged Red Rock highlands of northern Arizona, the Arizona Vortex Kit is a unique multipod that was created
from years of experimental development. The Vortex represents the pinnacle of at-the-edge frames, which no standard multipod can match
today. The recently improved Vortex Bag System allows a single rope technician to carry the entire Vortex Kit using our RigTech Pack™ and 2 redesigned Leg Bags.

The originator of modern artificial high directionals (AHD)s, the Vortex is a tripod, bipod and monopod in one all-inclusive kit. Its precision
machined two-piece head can be rigged as a standard tripod or, in advanced applications, as an A-frame, Sideways A-frame, Gin Pole or a
multitude of other configurations. The tripod can be formed into an Easel A-frame with adjustable leg lengths. The versatile third leg
allows rescuers to set up an artificial high directional in virtually any urban, industrial or wilderness application. When configured in the
A-frame and Easel A-Frame applications, pulleys can be attached directly into the Head Set using the included quick-pins rather than carabiners,
retaining valuable headspace and working clearance. The Vortex is ideal for use with high lines and tracking line offsets. The extra attachment
points also work well for rope access where several lines may be needed over the edge. Sets for both the Raptor Feet and Flat Feet
are included to provide secure footing options on varying terrain and industrial surfaces. The Flat Feet now come with an improved rubber pad
that can be easily replaced when needed.

CMC Fastloops Litter Straps

Patients need to be packaged into litters safely and securely without delay. FastLoops™ Litter Straps were devised to be pre-rigged into the
litter and left in place for rapid patient packaging. Designed to use a single length of tie-in web laced through the attached O-rings allows
for easy tensioning without the friction and wear of web-on-web contact.
FastLoops are factory-sewn with a half-twist in the web to attach to the litter using a Girth Hitch. They can remain in place on the litter while
storing, yet remove easily for inspection and cleaning. Requires use of a 20-foot length of 1-inch tubular web (not included) for tie-in, but may

hoist rescue operations. The opening panel was redesigned to allow access across the entire length of the Stork, making it possible to load

Protect your patient from further trauma during litter evacuations and carry-outs with our Litter Shield Plus. Since its inception, this device
has made several “saves” by deflecting falling rocks away from patients’ heads. The shield not only provides protection from falling
rocks and debris, but also protects against inclement weather and brush without compromising access to and visibility of the patient’s head. The
Litter Shield Plus is taller so it provides more room for a patient on a backboard or litter insert, and helps to reduce the “closed-in” feeling
experienced by some patients. The mounting bracket eliminates the need for a railing clamp on the litter and allows the shield to fit most

Faster to use than tying a harness out of web, the Low-Angle Litter Harness fits on the outside of the litter, delivering greater stability
than connecting carabiners directly to the railing. Made of our 1-3/4 in (44 mm) flat web with a tensile strength of 44.5 kN (10,000 lbf), the
center strap provides an adjustable backup to the other legs. The two outside straps attach just below the railing to the cross bar on the
sides of the litter. The adjustable strap attaches around the horizontal tubing in the center of the head section. This harness was designed to

CMC Patient Tie-In System

For many years the accepted method for securing a patient in a litter was improvised internal and external lashings using one-inch tubular
web. Critical patient-packaging time could be lost and often the finished lashing was either too tight or too loose. Looking for a
quicker and more secure way, we developed our Patient Tie-In System after testing a variety of prototypes in CMC School classes. The refined
product weighs less, is quick and secure, and can be easily adjusted to meet the patient’s requirements for comfort. The available pelvic
harness supports the patient’s weight when the litter is placed in a head-up position. Available for a one-piece or two-piece litter and can
be used with the pelvic harness system or for a patient on a backboard. Color-coded web helps keep the system organized.

CMC Proseries Litter Harness

This fully adjustable litter harness intended for use with a rigid litter features parachute buckles on each of the four legs. This allows
them to be adjusted independently, so the litter can be quickly and easily set at the best angle for condition or patient comfort. A heavy
duty O-ring is used for the top tie-in point and a 10-ft (3-m) tender line (CMC Static-Pro Lifeline) and a nylon storage bag are included.

CMC Rescue Litter Harness

Designed for high-angle rescues where minimum weight is important, such as backcountry rescues or air operations, this harness has legs that
adjust with a cam buckle for easily placing the patient in the most comfortable position. Color-coded legs aid fast set-up. The system ropes
can be attached directly to the 54 kN (12,139 lbf) Delta Quick Link (included) or connected in with carabiners. A 10-ft (3-m) 12.5 mm tender
line (CMC Static-Pro Lifeline) and nylon storage bag are included. Carabiners not included.

A complete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military-style litters, our Rescue Litter features a full one-inch diameter top rail to make the
litter easier to handle when carried for extended periods. Durathene™ netting eliminates cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires. Back support
is molded, high density polyethylene for greater durability. The steep-sided design allows a narrower litter with the same width at the
bed, which accepts standard-sized backboards. The narrow width and rounded ends provide greater maneuverability in tight locations. The
Stainless Steel Rescue Litter comes with four quick-attachment litter straps.
