DMM Apex

Despite its aggressive appearance, the Apex is comfortable across a
wide variety of terrain. The shaft curve has been precisely designed to
give clearance and stability on steep ground while remaining effective
when plunging, daggering and moving on easier angled snow slopes.

The Apex is fully T rated, and the head and handle are double riveted
onto the lightweight aluminium shaft. This robust construction lets the
Apex handle the burly nature of winter climbing

The hot forged handle also strikes a balance between performance and
versatility. A straight design with a spike on the base makes plunging
the Apex into snow and ice easy when moving on less steep terrain. The
upper and lower hand rests allow hand matching, crucial to the Apex’s
performance on steeper ground.

What the Flux
At 35cm in length the Flux is the lightest and most compact certified ice axe with a full steel pick on the market.
Designed to be an indispensable piece of kit, the Flux is suited for a variety of terrains such as: summer alpine rock climbing, ski mountaineering, ski touring and winter fell running. The Flux is light and compact enough to carry easily, fitting into most backpacks comfortably.

DMM Freedom Leash

While leashless climbing is incredibly liberating, dropping your axe
halfway up a route is not an option. This leash gives you the freedom
and versatility of leashless climbing, while preventing your axes from
falling if you do drop them.

The leashes have a clip in point half way up. If you fall off but your
axes hold, this allows you to clip a sling into the leash and pull back
to your axes. A feature you hopefully won’t have to use, but will be
glad of if you do.

This item is purely intended to prevent dropping your tools. At no point should you rely on it to provide security.

DMM Switch

Radically curved to maximise clearance, it is the perfect partner for
the most outrageous mixed, ice, and dry tooling routes around.

The Switch is instantly recognisable as a top end ice axe. An
aggressively curved shaft gives optimal clearance for steep terrain.
Both the shaft and pick are T rated, which along with the full strength
handle and double riveted construction, means the Switch can stand up to
the harshest treatment.

The handle is CNC'd from a solid block of aluminium to maximise
ergonomics and make the Switch highly stable when hooking through thin
terrain. Full strength upper and lower rests allow you to make use of
the full range of modern mixed climbing techniques.
