CMC Texora Mamba Sling

Built for extreme work environments, Texora’s Black Mamba represents a breakthrough in technical safety and versatility. Its para-aramid fiber core has a 450ºC (842ºF) melting point, and high durability. The PES elastane sheath protects and contains the inner fibers in a lightweight, low-profile, and easy to handle package. Classified to EN standards for two person loads and rated to 49 kN (11,016 LBF) MBS, the Mamba is burly for anchor building and compact enough to carry on the harness or in a pocket. It’s the ideal tool for rescue and access in harsh conditions.

The breaking force of this equipment exceeds requirements of the listed standards, yet it remains supple, lightweight, and low volume. Black Mamba slings are firm and flexible, maintaining their shape when wrapping around overhead structures or getting into hard to reach places. Their high strength opens options for using choker configuration (girth hitch). There is no heavy hardware to carry and maintain, and it packs down nicely for transport. The expected lifespan of the Mamba is three years from the date of first use or 5 years from the date of manufacture, provided all instructions of use, maintenance, and storage have been followed and all controls have been carried out (primary limitation is UV exposure).

NOTE: It is essential to follow best practices for inspecting equipment, placing slings around low diameter structures, and using edge protection. The Black Mamba’s polyester sheath is not a replacement for edge protection. It encapsulates the strength-bearing para-aramid core and is designed for limited protection against the elements. If proper edge protection is neglected, the sheath can be damaged to the point of needing retirement. CMC Texora TX/L Compact Sling

CMC Texora TX/L Wire Sling

Strong, durable, and easy to use, the TX/L Wire Sling is designed for building versatile anchors in rescue and rope access. Rated for a two-person load, the TX/L Wire Sling has an internal core of galvanized steel wire that is looped 12 times to generate a 50 kN MBS (end to end configuration) and make the load bearing elements resistant to heat, abrasion, cuts, and impacts. A polyester sleeve surrounds the wire loops to protect them from damage, make them easy to handle, and prevent them from damaging finished surfaces.

The Wire Sling hybrid construction offers more resistance to mechanical damage than a textile sling yet remains flexible for numerous applications. It is firm and flexible, maintaining its shape when wrapping around overhead structures and getting into hard to reach places. Its high strength opens options for using choker configuration (girth hitch) and the 2mm wire diameter allows the TX/L Wire Sling to be wrapped around low diameter structures without kinking or bending. Lightweight and low volume, these slings have no heavy hardware attached and pack down nicely for transport.

There is a built-in inspection window for checking the internal wire. By rotating the wire cores out of the window and back into the sleeve, a full evaluation can be performed for each strand in the wire loop. It is recommended to follow best practices for inspecting equipment, using edge protection, and placing slings around low diameter structures.

Organization and efficiency at its best. The Truck Cache is constructed of tough water-resistant 1,000-denier CORDURA®
nylon with padded sides to store and protect all the rigging hardware needed to set up a main and belay system. The cache carries like a
briefcase using the sturdy molded split-apart handle and features hide-away shoulder straps so that it can be backpacked in on longer

CMC Ultra-Pro Edge Protector

CMC Variable Anchor Strap

Our Variable Anchor Strap differs significantly in design and performance from other adjustable anchor straps. By using an additional
length of web, it can handle a higher load before slipping. It adjusts from 3 ft (91 cm) to 7 ft (213 cm). The D-ring on one end is larger so
the other end can pass through, allowing the strap to be rigged in a choker (girth hitch) configuration and still be adjusted. The high

Harken Industrial Wingman

Harken’s new WingMan applies new design and technology to achieve more from a compact personal mechanical advantage system. WingMan’s innovative design makes it among the first offerings in this category to achieve internal progress capture mechanically within the unit rather than relying on prusiks to achieve that externally. WingMan combines a ratcheting sheave to stop the rope with a composite handle or wing that the operator can open and close under load for a well-modulated ‘fine-tuned’ release. Under a full load, even with the sheaves pulled completely together, the system can be released quite easily – with full control using one hand on the wing and the other tending the line.

The WingMan has a minimum overall length of just 8 inches which means more clearance under a tripod and more throw during a pick-off. The device is also ideal for creating adjustable directionals, work positioning and much more. It may be configured as a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage system. These revolutionary features, plus ball bearings within the sheaves that maximize efficiency for raising and lowering loads of up to 681 lbs, makes WingMan a simple tool you will always want at your side. Comes in an industrial-grade ballistic nylon carrying bag with locking buckle. The bag includes drawstring and drain grommets to separate unit and line for proper deployment and line drying.

Construction
The WingMan is a mechanical-advantage device for load lifting and releasing. It is used in a
fall protection or work at height system. It is intended for work at height, access, and rescue
use. It can be used for human suspension for up to a 3 kN load. The WingMan consists of
two swivel pulleys and a manufacturer supplied rope. One pulley is a double with a becket
to dead end the rope. The other pulley is a double with a ratchet and cammed sheave with
a releasing handle allowing gradual release of the mechanical advantage system under
load. The releasing handle is located at the operator end. Anodized aluminum is used
throughout the pulleys. The handle is glass reinforced nylon. The rope is an 8 mm static
polyester with a sewn termination and is not to be substituted.
Pulleys have stainless steel axles and fasteners. The ratchet mechanism is stainless steel.

The Harken LokHead Winch Kit (NFPA Technical Use) is a man-riding portable capstan winch specifically designed for confined space rescue
retrieval or for use with davit systems using an unlimited length of life safety rope. The captive head allows the winch to be used safely,
and keeps the rope from accidentally coming off the winch and releasing. The LokHead Winch Kit comes complete with everything needed for a
tripod setup.

– The LokHead Winch can be used anywhere a load needs to be lifted and lowered. Rigged to a tripod, like an Arizona Vortex, Sked-Evac tripod,
or most other tripods available, it can be used for confined space rescue, for load moving and hauling, and man-riding
Ergonomic – Easy to rig and efficient, makes the most of the operator’s effort. The winch offers a 40:1 power ratio with 2 gears: high-speed for
light-loads and low-speed for heavy-loads
Operation – Can be driven manually with the provided 25 cm (10″) winch handle or can be used with a power drill
Reliable – The braking system provides descent control and worker protection against free-falls. The encapsulating jaw cover protects fingers and
clothing from catching in the winch
Versatile – Designed for use with life safety rope 10-12.7 mm (5/16-1/2 in) diameter and unlimited line length
Maintenance is easy – Clean and grease regularly as described in the product manual
Maximum Rated Load (MRL) – The max rated load is 500 kg (1,102 lb) for goods/equipment and 220 kg (485 lb) for live rescue loads
