CMC Appalachian Hitching Post (AHP)
Description
The Appalachian Hitching Post ( AHP) is a vehicle mounted interface designed to securely anchor a leg section of the Arizona Vortex to a vehicle. It is compatible with any of the approved configurations outlined in the Vortex user manual provided the specific riggin principles for each confirguration are followed.
The AHP further facilitates placement of the Vortex with the optional 90 Deg Hitch Adaptor, allowing for verhicle placements perpendicular to the edge. Both the AHP and the 90 Deg Hitch Adaptor are designed for use with 2" receiver hitches.
With a rating at 36kN, the AHP is suitable for anchoring the Vortex with a standard two-rope system, as well as providing additional anchor points for redirects or primary connection points.
The AHP comes with a push pin to connect the Vortex leg, a 5/8" hitch receiver pin and a carry bag. The AHP 90 Deg Adaptor comes with a push pin to connect to the AHP.
