CMC Appalachian Hitching Post (AHP)

The Appalachian Hitching Post ( AHP) is a vehicle mounted interface designed to securely anchor a leg section of the Arizona Vortex to a vehicle. It is compatible with any of the approved configurations outlined in the Vortex user manual provided the specific riggin principles for each confirguration are followed.
The AHP further facilitates placement of the Vortex with the optional 90 Deg Hitch Adaptor, allowing for verhicle placements perpendicular to the edge. Both the AHP and the 90 Deg Hitch Adaptor are designed for use with 2" receiver hitches.
With a rating at 36kN, the AHP is suitable for anchoring the Vortex with a standard two-rope system, as well as providing additional anchor points for redirects or primary connection points.
The AHP comes with a push pin to connect the Vortex leg, a 5/8" hitch receiver pin and a carry bag. The AHP 90 Deg Adaptor comes with a push pin to connect to the AHP.

CMC Wicked Picket Anchor System

The Wicked Picket Anchor System is a high strength , rapidly deployed ground anchor. This comprehensive system includes three hardened steel pickets for strength and durablility , an aluminium picket plate with precision formed holes for maximum holding strenth, a modular hitch point for rigging anchors, an Extraction Prusik for picket removal and a carry bag that rolls open and doubles as edge protection.
TRANSPORT
System components are efficiently organised in the included carry bag. Made from canvas and vinyl coated polyester, the carry bag provides lasting durability both as a bag and edge protection. Rolling open for easy access it offers four web loops for tying off at the edge, a clean rope path and a label/ID holder.
INSTALLATION
Quick and easy to install the Picket Plate joins all 3 pickets together, unifying their strength for operations. Pickets are aligned vertically and driven to depth using a sledge hammer or similar tool. This orientation simplifies placement and optimises pullout capacity
ANCHORING
Anchoring is streamlined using the included forged Hitch Point. This can be attached to the front or rear of the plate in a vertical or horizontal configuration, supporting a variety of applications. The Hitch Point is certified to NFPA Gerneral Use and also compatible with 2 inch truck hitches.
REMOVAL
Once operations are complete the pickets are removed with support from the Extraction Prusik. The cord is looped around the picket head to provide a useful lifting point. The Hitch Point is easily disconected from the plate using the included 5/8 inch quick release pin

Note - NFPA testing performed with Hitch Point adn 5/8 Quick Release Pin. Testing was not performed with stakes installed in ground as intended for use. Holding strenght of the system is soil and condition dependent.
Due to manufacturing the picket plate may show cosmetic imperfections adn the pickets may vary in length =/- 1 inch. These are built for strength and durability

DMM Wisp Quickdraw

An ultralight compact wiregate carabiner for critical weight savings, ideally suited to multipitch, trad and alpine climbing.

The Wisp Quickdraw provides significant weight savings for climbers on long techincal routes. By pairing the 22g Wisp carabiner with lightweight slings, the cumulative weight of a full rack is reduced, aiding efficiency on multipitch trad and alpine objectives.
The carabiners feature a 20mm gate opening maintaining reliable handling and clipping performance despite their compact size. This ensures that the Wisp remains functional in alpine environments where conditions can make gear manipulation difficult.
Wisp Quick Draws are available in 12cm, 18cm and 25cm lengths to suit various preferences & requirements. For meandering pitches and extending placements the Wisp is also available as a 60cm alpine quickdraw.
